This lovely pub has a cozy fireplace, affordable ale, and screens for watching sports. My favorite is the Crabbys ale, only £1.75 a pint. For a livelier atmosphere on the weekends, they also own Crabbys Thicks sport bar in the city, with similar prices and staff often moving between the two locations. View all feedback.
This carvery restaurant offers a wide variety of potato and vegetable options. The meat choices include pork, beef, and chicken, all of which are of good quality and easy to cut. The drinks prices are average. The only downside is that the service can feel a bit perfunctory, although the staff mean well. Overall, I would give this restaurant 4 stars.
The drinks are affordable, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is beautiful. Plus, there's a free swimming pool available Monday through Thursday! This is a great place for locals to hang out.
This is the only pub on the tarka trail. friendly staff and the usual pub fare for eating and drinking. there is a terrace if they want to keep their eye on their bikes, but it is a level of the trail so more a physical security than anything else.
