On Danforth, Trecce serves rustic Italian fare—standout octopus, ravioli, veal parm, arancini and wood-fired pizzas made with fresh ingredients. Family-owned and family-friendly, it offers a lively patio, occasional live music and clean facilities. Diners praise the food quality but note inconsistent service, slow timing, small portions at times and higher prices; wine handling and extra-charge practices have drawn complaints. Worth visiting for quality-focused pizza and seafood lovers, but expect variability in service and value.
Solid 4.5 stars. Had a great dinner here. Food exceeded my expectations. This is like a hole hidden in the wall on the Danforth, service was good. Eating took awhile, but understandably considering how busy they were. Bonus Live music made the kurbside makeshift patio alot more vibrant.
The veal parmesan was excellent. Very tender. The Alfredo pasta was excellent as well. Loved the sauce. Enjoy the patio. Good job guys. Definitely will be back.
They accommodated my big family so well! The food was AMAZING. Everything was SOOOO fresh and delicious. We were all so happy after having that dinner.
Very disappointed with Trecce. Went out for dinner last summer and ordered the ravioli, I only got 5 noodles in the dish. I was still so hungry that I had to order a pizza when I got home… thought I would give them a second chance tonight and regret it.There was only one other table and we could not get any service. We had to go inside twice to put in an order and ask for ourbill. Had to flag down a different server after waiting 20 minutes to order our entrees. We requested more sauce to finish ourcalamari because they hardly give you any and they charged us $3. Was wondering why the restaurant next door was so busy andTrecce was empty and now I know why. Terrible service, small portions, over priced and mediocre food. Won’t return.
