If you come to squirlys when Hannah the short one with short hair is working, you may as well leave because she’ll make your evening worse by being there. It is unfortunate she ruins the atmosphere of this place on her own as the food and back patio are otherwise quite enjoyable. Everyone else is nice! View all feedback.
If you want that old school local bar feel - local staff, dark, dingy, Anthony Bourdain style...but you want well prepared bar food - come here. Eclectic - been around since "ever" - home cooked meals. Stragglers, Strangers, locals, designers, artists, musicians, and bar flies...dreams do come true. AND OMG...check out the secret hidden back patio. sofas at sunset???!!! yes....Queen West of old still exists!
Excellently friendly service. We didn't expect to eat anything there but then we were enjoying ourselves so much we didn't want to leave for dinner. So, we got the delicious pub grub and keep on drinking. Everybody was happy.
Daughter and I strolled in, settled in the back under the awning. Excellent food and great value, Seven grain salad, served with the veggie taco was delicious. I'll go back next Im in Toronto.
Squirly’s has reopened and I am so happy about it. A Queen West staple with an amazing vibe, a great kitchen and yummy cocktails. Zaid and Miles (bartenders) make this place feel like home. 10/10. Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Great veg options
