Was Caroline Burkart at Shalom Ethiopian Eritrean a mag?
the sharing platter is phenomenal! lovely server, she always made sure we were doing ok and gave our group extra injera when we were running low. would love to try the coffee next time, the aroma from another table was heavenly! View all feedback.
What Chris dislikes about Shalom Ethiopian Eritrean:
Very unreliable. They repeatedly cancel orders at the last minute. While it's understandable to experience the occasional cancellation with the 'Too Good to Go' app, I've had all my orders cancelled within an hour of the pickup time—three in just two weeks. It seems like they might be using the app for advertising without actually wanting to fulfill the majority of orders, or perhaps there's a serious issue with how... View all feedback.
I had a wonderful catering experience with Shalom restaurant! Saba was a pleasure to work with and offered a variety of vegan/gluten-free options for our party. We had 6 different stews, injera and samosas. Our guests loved it! It was such a unique and fun dining experience. The food was ready and perfectly packaged at the time I came to pick it up. All of it was delicious, homemade, and full of flavor. Our guests could not stop complimenting the food!
Their food was so delicious!! The Shalom platter came with a variety of veggies and each one was absolutely delicious. The platter I ordered came with chicken and an egg. The gravy was very tasty. The service is also great. The lady who served us was so kind and explained her dishes with a smile every time I asked a question. Highly recommend!!
Food is oily spicy as hell Pasta is so dry. Hope they pay attention to that The restaurant is nice place to seat there
The food here is incredible and the value cannot be beat. My partner and I come here often to share a Shalom platter and we both leave feeling satiated. The doro wat is savoury and perfectly spiced, the vegetable sides are always varied and equally as delicious. If you are a fan of Ethiopian and Eritrean cuisine, come here. If you are new to the cuisine, this restaurant is the best place to come try it for the first time. A must-try, you won’t be disappointed! So far i’ve been here twice, and both times I brought someone who hasn’t tried Ethiopian/Eritrean, and both times they left loving it! The atmosphere, music, layout, service, etc was all excellent, and the restaurant is generally well kept. I also want to thank Helen, Dawut, and Saba who all were extremely kind and welcoming to me and my friends. So far i’ve tried the: Veggie platter for 2 Meat platter for 2 The injera is cooked to perfection, the veggies are fresh and delicious, while the meat is very savoury.
