Feedback
Was Anonym at Second Cup a mag?
Yes, its a coffee shop in the mall, but it offers a really good cup of coffee--something above and beyond the usual "black" coffee you might find in other places. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Second Cup:
I rarely see Second Cup having a large dining area in a mall. Usually, they only have a takeout counter with a few stools, especially in most of their downtown Toronto locations. So, I was pleasantly surprised when I visited Eaton Centre and discovered that they had a spacious corner near the mall entrance. I only purchased my usual drinks, as I actually prefer Second Cup coffee to other coffee places. View all feedback.

Yes, it may be located in a mall, but this coffee shop stands out for its exceptional quality coffee, surpassing the standard black coffee typically found in other establishments.
If you are lactose intolerant, this is the perfect place for you. I was pleasantly surprised when I asked about lactose-free milk and was told they have it available. I tried the white hot chocolate and it was incredibly smooth and delicious. I ended up having one every day of my vacation. They also make frappés with lactose-free milk that are equally tasty.
I am still undecided about many aspects of this brand of eateries. Many reforms are needed and many questions remain to be asked and answered. Please ask these people to change or improve the contents of the menu and to lower the prices that they...want people like you and me to pay for food that is mediocre or inferior. Nothing much has changed to give me hope or confidence that this type of convenient fast food place or coffee shop call it what you want maybe you want to call it an eatery will show a willingness to improve drastically their menu. Coffee and tea needs to be improved. Free refills are necessary at these high prices. Eating food that seems to come out of a vending machine is not good nutritional practice. Is there any way for the customer to know when the prepackaged sandwich was made and put on the display shelf? Selling prepackaged food like sandwiches that are already made and waiting for people to purchase are not good strategies for promoting good nutrition. Include a greater variety of good sandwiches and prepare them on the spot as they are ordered. over there is much too much of this type of food ready to be packaged and sold. Somethings do not appear to taste or to be fresh. Change and improve the menu. I would say enlarge the menu that is really too limited. Much coffee needs to be made in a different way and cost much less to buy it. Free refills are necessary at these prices. A greater variety of organic muffins and sugar free pastries is needed. Concession stand mentality prevails here. There are too many sugary pastries, cakes and and rolls that do not constitute quintessentially important parts of a diet. Yes, this is an inexpensive city for traveling and touring and for buying food at restaurants like this. You are not getting your money's worth for what you pay for this inferior food. Ask questions about the sugar salt and sodium content. Do go elsewhere if you can not stomach this menu. Too many of these places that are part of a chain of eateries in this town are much too much alike inferior and mediocre doing the same thing in a routine. Prices do add up quickly not the best place if you are on a budget. Pinching pennies is one thing but pinching yourself for making the mistake of eating here is something else. I have visited many of these chain eateries and can not get my self to become suddenly enamored with them. Gourmet eating in not to be fostered here Something is missing like more quality. I will return to see what happens to the daily operations. In the meantime make your own judgement and be careful what you order.
