Feedback
Oretta offers a mixed dining experience with reviews citing both positive and negative aspects. While some guests appreciated the outstanding customer service and delicious food, others were disappointed by cold dishes, impolite servers, and lack of special treatment for occasions like birthdays. However, the ambience and interior design were praised across the board. Some diners were impressed by the unique flavors and portion sizes, while others found the experience falling short of their expectations. Overall, Oretta seems to provide a memorable dining experience for some, while lacking in certain aspects for others.
This downtown restaurant is a great spot for a team lunch. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is very pleasant.
Our server, Iva, was extremely impolite. We brought a cake with us but were not informed about the fee for cutting it, not even when we handed it over upon arrival. I requested water multiple times but it was never brought to me promptly. Likewise, I had to ask repeatedly for a napkin. At the conclusion of our meal, we asked for our cake back after learning of the fee. Iva made a dismissive comment when we requested it, which was very rude. I do not recommend dining at this restaurant.
The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic, amazing. I highly recommend this place.
This is a lovely, pretty restaurant, with really good food. The whipped ricotta was to die for. Our waiter Jonathan was GREAT! The prices are fair considering how expensive downtown Toronto restaurant prices have become. You are in the heart of the nightclub district here too. Overall fun for romance, birthdays, friends or family. No need to dress up but certainly you can and won’t feel out of place.
You can’t modify any order doesn’t even matter about your dietary restrictions. The chef cares more about the presentation and they’re not even anything special to begin with. The food is mediocre and just not deserve a high rating. The noodles were undercooked and the waitress said no to nearly every question we requested for. We asked to remove pork from out of the menu items, they said no, we asked for extra sauce, they said no, we asked for tomatoes to be substituted for the figs and they said no. It was just an overall bad experience. I would make sure to never come back here and if you’re reading this to stay away. Don’t waste your time.
