This cozy little gem serves only the freshest onigiri! They offer a variety of fillings including shrimp, salmon, pork, crab, and tofu, as well as spam, which is a delightful surprise! The seafood options were definitely the standout favorites among our group. Highly recommended! View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Oniguy:
I was really disappointed. The portion sizes are not as generous as the 12.5 you see advertised; it's a bit less than that. I ordered the crab meat, beef, and pork. The crab meat was barely there, the beef was just okay, and the pork had a decent appearance but didn't taste good at all. I only had two bites of the pork and couldn't finish it because it was tough. They’re currently rated 5 out of 10, and honestly, it’... View all feedback.
I was completely disappointed on the first visit of this place. To be honest, I just want to let you guys know that food isn’t the only thing you’re selling at a restaurant. With so many choices available nowadays in the restaurant sector, maintaining both product and service quality in your food service will ensure that your customer will enjoy coming back to support your business during this pandemic.Honestly, I was super excited to come despite the fact that the rice ball is just about the same thing that I could simply get them from other places without going all the way to downtown from Vaughan. The moment I stepped into the store I wasn't welcomed at all, neither did I was informed the order would be made fresh on the spot. Of course it is nice to have it freshly made but what about the review a month ago?The owner clearly responded to another complaint about closing earlier than the hours listed on google and the owner explained it well that it takes a large amount of time to prep the food so you guys would never make food on the spot and decided to close the store earlier when ingredients ran out? What happened today? I assumed it's grab and go according to the response written, but waited 20 minutes instead for my order today because the staff was making it on the spot? It would be nice of you guys telling customer that the order would be ready in a certain time and not leaving the customer unclear about what is happening. I am trying to support local business but I would definitely not return to this place. I don't think simply saying a thank you is that difficult when customer picks up the order from you. I felt like the staff didn't even want to sell the product to me at all and I was not welcomed from the point I entered the store until the end. Also, if you response to a complaint please be more honest about your business and knowing that poor customer service is one of the leading reasons customers leave your restaurant with no intention of returning. Please be aware of today’s food consumer doesn’t have to tolerate poor customer service. They will simply never return.

I really enjoyed the ginger-kirish iceball! As a Japanese person, the way they shaped the iceball reminded me of those found in Japanese convenience stores. Initially, I thought the iceballs were a bit expensive when I first looked at the menu, but I was completely satisfied with the generous filling!
