One important tip is to make a reservation before visiting this restaurant. If they tell you that you have to leave in 2 hours, you will have to leave in 2 hours. We came here for my birthday and wanted a Hawaiian vibe. They definitely make their money from their cocktails! Some of which are overpriced! But they are unique! Having been to Hawaii several times, I was really excited to eat here! And they did not disappoint! Came for a birthday dinner for 2. We tried the Poke, Fried Rice and more. Also tried a few cocktails and they come in the cutest mugs/cups! A bit pricey but worth trying. Server was friendly. Even the owner, came by to chat with. If theres one thing that stood out, the DECOR. I wanted to take it all home with me.
We hosted our friends bachelorette at Miss Things this weekend, and we had high hopes and expectations for the night, sadly, I was very disappointed in the service that we received. We first made reservations for this event back in April, that is 3 months in advance! Because we were a large group we had to opt for a set menu, which we were totally fine with, and via e-mail the staff that I communicated with were wonderful. Our reservations were for 8:30 and we arrived promptly with the bride to be at that time, only to greet other guests that had arrived before us, we mingled and ordered drinks as we waited for our food- at 9:20 a waitress approached me and told me that because we were an hour late for our reservation that we would not be served our food for over an hour because the kitchen was backed up. I checked my watch and informed the waitress that we had arrived promptly at 8:30 and that some of our guests were even early, she shrugged and said "You were late you now have to wait". We went to speak with the front of the house and while she did agree that we arrived on time, she justified the way the waitress spoke to us and said, "she's just overwhelmed, she doesn't know how to express herself, she's frustrated and shouldn't have blamed you, it's just really busy in here and she has a lot to do because there are 2 large parties tonight doing the set menu" (we made these resos in April, you knew we were coming! This is not our fault) We can totally understand that things happen, however, to blame a customer and scold them for their tardiness (when we were not) and then tell them because of it that they would have to wait for food was unacceptable. Something (an appetizer, anything) should have been brought to the table as we waited 2 HOURS for something to be brought out to us from the time we arrived! We didn't finish eating until midnight. The food was ok, there was nothing that was extremely memorable that I could recommend or that I would go back for. After all of this each person in our party was charged 20% gratuity... for 2 cocktails and the set menu my own bill was $100... I don't think that meal and this experience quantified that type of gratuity and needless to say although we thought that this restaurant would be wonderful in theory if I could go back and do it all over again we would have chosen a different venue.
Came to celebrate a birthday party with 20 people. The food was good the cocktails were ok,,, beautiful presentation ... the service was horrendous!!!

However, it is important to note that around 9:00pm the music becomes very loud, making it difficult to hold a conversation. Despite this, it is a unique and enjoyable dining experience with good food.
When we arrived, they couldn't locate our reservation, so we decided to have a drink at the bar while we waited for a table to become available.
