The Magic Oven is a versatile restaurant offering a variety of options for different dietary preferences, including gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan. The pizzas are highly recommended, with both regular and gluten-free crusts receiving praise. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The unique menu items, such as organic chicken, and the delicious and creative food make this a standout spot for pre-theatre dining. Overall, a great option for those looking for a healthy and delicious meal in Toronto.
Looking for a delicious gluten free pizza? The Magic Oven does a very good joy. I'm told that their regular crusts are also great. This spot on The Danforth has a much better feel than the one that was further west.I'm puzzled that the place isn't always very busy as there are still so few places that offer, for example, organic chicken...
This is a very nice spot to have a healthy dinner, we have been here before and enjoy the service and good food, I got to try the pizza next time, it smelled so good from the table next to us. Yummy.
I've stopped counting the number of Prana pizzas I've hoovered when I visit the Magic Oven. It's my son's and my regular pre-theatre haunt when we're seeing shows at the Coalmine Theatre. The tables are spaced nicely - so we can talk and not eavesdrop on the table next to us - the food is delicious, the staff do everything in their power to make sure that patrons are out of the restaurant in time for a show, and they are attentive and cheerful but not 'in your face'. I love this place. (I should mention again, the food is really delicious, creative, and nutritious.)
Beautiful decor, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. The food was just ok, with the exception of the pork tacos which were awful. The tacos are 4 hard and chewy 2 inch mini tortillas with a pinch of shredded pork on top with a side of pork belly. Not worth the price.I would return for drinks because the setting is really nice, but definitely not coming back for dinner.
