I love Sam's restaurants. For 20 years I was a regular at Lolita's Lust on the Danforth, and now, Sam's passion is Braised in Leslieville. We brought friends here tonight, and what a fun time. Great space, great staff, and amazing food. I had the braised short rib, and also at our table were the chicken, the beet salad with chicken and the lamb shank, all thoroughly enjoyed. Dinner a little by chance at Braised's a nice evening in September. the place was a little empty, weirdly, but I wasn't disappointed. nice decor, attentive service, and —the most important — I ate very well!

Loved our visit to Braised. My husband has to eat gluten free, not as a lifestyle choice but because he has Celiac Disease. Braised had many options for gluten free meals for him. Kudos to Braised. The food was excellent as well. We will definitely be back.

I visited the restaurant on a Friday night at 8:30 pm and found it to be nearly empty. This should have been a warning sign, as the food quality was quite poor.
