Winterlicious menu was expertly handled by who every created the menu and the kitchen, especially the Winter Caprese, Braised Beef and Passion Fruit dessert. FOH didn't do much to add to the experience, but did keep the restaurant moving at a good pace on what was clearly a very busy night. Understandable as it was the first night of winterlicious. Batch is a nice spot and the food has been great in the past. This time however the advertised special was not available, the replacement took longer than expected. There was 8 of us and we got our food at different times. We didn’t get any food delivered to the table for an hour. Only 1 employees in front of the places. Once we got in, the service was attentive and friendly. burrata was very good overall, but somewhat different from expected (less garlic bread and more honey bread). not many options for vegetarier in the netzen .or actually I think there were none that were disappointed but made in the starter selections. her daily $5 beer special is a good offer. will be quick.
Excellent recommended by the server motivated us to share a charcuterie and cheeseboard with a dark roasted beer. our guests were less successful, especially because of the grotesque brot in French toast and reuben (probably must be served on roggen? . they left the half of their teller incomplete before they went to a matinee of hamilton.
Great place for bier lovers with a delicious menu. great eating and an entertaining atmosphere.
The server's excellent recommendations inspired us to order a charcuterie and cheese board along with a dark roasted beer. Sadly, our guests made less successful choices, particularly due to the overly thick bread on the French toast and Reuben sandwich (which should definitely be served on rye). They ended up leaving half of their meals uneaten as they headed off to see a matinee of Hamilton.
Fantastic beer on draft (Urbock probably the most delicious beer I've had in years). I also loved the mushroom toast. It's a nice addition to the downtown core for pre gatherings at night or post work fun.
