Was Dexter Leuschke at 9 Bars a mag?
I went to this restaurant with a close friend and had lunch. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they offered non-dairy milk options for all beverages (hooray!). View all feedback.
Since we moved into the area it's become one of our favourite cafes. Healthy lunch fare and excellent mini profiteroles for dessert. Best coffee since our trip to Spain. Wish it was open weekends.

Ok, so this is a totally independent place and yes the espresso is spectacular. I was meeting some local peers on business and what struck me was how in midtown-jaded Toronto how warm the locals and staff were to each other, especially seniors. Lovely decor and very good food.
The owner of this restaurant is fantastic - he is a really friendly guy. The hours are a bit inconvenient, but aside from that, it is a great place.
