Despite offering a stunning view, the restaurant received mixed reviews on its food quality and customer service. Some customers found their meals to be overpriced and disappointing, while others praised the well-prepared European dishes and large portions. The service received mixed feedback, with some guests noting slow service and errors in their orders, while others commended the staff for accommodating special occasions and providing excellent service. Overall, the restaurant appears to have a polarizing reputation, with some customers recommending it for its ambiance and cuisine, while others suggest looking elsewhere for a more satisfying dining experience.
The European cuisine at this restaurant is expertly prepared with very generous portions. It is recommended to share a main course, especially if you plan on ordering an appetizer first. Their specialty is Schnitzel, and they offer a wide selection of well-prepared and delicious dishes. The restaurant is conveniently located near the underground for easy accessibility.
I went to this restaurant many times already and they have delivered every time. The food is great, the atmosphere is great, the service is great and the food is great.
Yesterday, I went to Schnitzel Hub for lunch with three friends. I had made reservations a couple of days in advance, but the restaurant was quiet, likely because it was a holiday. We were seated promptly and given menus to choose from. They offered a lunch special that included an appetizer, main course, and dessert. Two of us opted for this special and ordered the gravlax carpaccio, veal jaeger schnitzel, and apple strudel. The other two ordered veal parma schnitzel with spaetzle and wiener schnitzel with sauerkraut. The waitress was very friendly and our food arrived after a short wait. The gravlax carpaccio was beautifully presented and delicious. The schnitzels were generous in portion size and cooked perfectly. The veal jaeger schnitzel was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a delicious mushroom sauce. The spaetzle was rich and paired well with the schnitzel. The apple strudel was dusted with powdered sugar and served with berries and vanilla sauce on the side. The filling was flavorful and not too sweet, and the pastry was buttery and flaky. The service was excellent and I highly recommend dining at Schnitzel Hub. I will definitely be returning, perhaps for dinner next time.
European resturant Schnitzel hub in toronto is my go to spot when in toronto food ,drinks and atmosphere second to none .
It's been a while since we had German food and we decided to go to the hub.I tried the potato cheddar perogies for appetizer, braised rabbit (I'm not a fan of schnitzel or sausage), and cherry perogies for dessert.Appetizer was good, braised rabbit was good but the sauce is a bit too rich for me.Cheery pergoies were interesting but not great for my taste.
