Friendly and specially if you get to meet the owner Fischetto! He will treat you like being home with mamma e nonna... Excellent pizza, great family atmosphere great on weekdays. Truly enjoyed out time.
Whether it is local charm or only for locals, I think it is good value for money. You come here to eat a nice pizza, not to have dinner. 5 or 6 euro for a fresh pizza.
This is an amazingly unpretentious place, located in an anonymous post-industrial suburb in the northern periphery of Turin. The place is very small with just a few tables and it's run by a charming southern Italian septuagenarian offering a small, yet substantial daily menu based mainly on pasta and pizza. I only tried the pizzas as this is what they are famous for and I can say it was one of the most amazing pizzas I had tasted in years. The last time I had a pizza of that quality was in Naples, over 5 years ago. The prices are more than reasonable from 4 to 6 euros per pizza, depending on the topping. Visiting this trattoria is like going back in time, in an era of homely food, lovingly made with fresh ingredients and served with a smile. If you are visiting Turin and don't mind the detour (a taxi ride from the centre would take around 10 minutes) drop into Fischetto for a taste of bygone times. I am sure you won't be disappointed (beware this is a place focussed on food only, if you want atmosphere instead you will need to find somewhere else).
