I usually love this restaurant, but I was very disappointed with my visit to Trunk on 250 today. They gave me my meals in open containers, which was frustrating since I had to travel a distance. I stumbled upon the CC truck on Middlebury Street by chance, and I'm so glad I did! The steak tacos were fantastic! The shells were fresh and perfectly toasted, and there was a generous amount of tender steak inside. You went from a hangry husband to a very happy husband in no time!
It said it was open until 7, but I arrived at 4 and found a closed sign on the door.
The restaurant offers only eight flavors of ice cream. We ordered two root beer floats and a smaller serving of ice cream. While there is a ramp for entry, we opted to go up the four steps instead. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. It's a charming little spot, and we arrived around 2 PM.
