This pub is located in a nice area with a large garden, although the garden itself appears a bit neglected. The staff are friendly and the food is typical pub fare, but it is tasty and seems to be made on the premises (unlike many other places these days). This was my first time visiting this pub, and I had an amazing meal here after a walk with the Teston hikers. The service and food were top-notch, and not a single person in our group of 22 had any complaints. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning. The price per person is between £10-£20, and the food, service, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5 rating. There is plenty of parking available, with free parking options on site.
