If you’ve been traveling through japan and you’re missing food with a real kick, this is the place for you. order via the kiosk, pay with cash or the typical e-pay options we used the suica transit card , sit down at the counter and give your ticket to the cook, then get some water at the dispenser because you will likely need it. hang up your jacket because you may be sweating soon enough. spice levels range from 1 to 9 !!! , though i can’t imagine the hubris of someone that orders a 9. the 4 was not to be trifled with; locals eating there will watch you struggle, not understanding what you’re going through as they sit there enjoying their own 1 or 2. highly recommend adding the rice and soft-boiled egg to your order to maximize the experience. there are tissue boxes hidden by your knees under the counter, useful when your face starts leaking on its own.
