We were told that they just served pub food. Everything we ordered was delicious, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Don't miss the long list of oyster dishes. Very creative. View all feedback.
What Jaquan Blanda dislikes about Characters Bridge:
$32 crab cake meal served on paper plate with plastic silverware. Extremely small portions barely got any sides. Had bar but no beer on tap. Menu on Google much different than menu we got. Actual menu is very limited selection and then they were outof several things on the menu. One of the reasons we picked the place was because of the variety of food they had but thisturned out to be wrong. For the prices they charged you can go to a much nicer place, get real plates and silverware, and muchbetter food.
Good food portions way too small plastic plates and plastic party cups too expensive for the presentation and overall experience. Staff was pleasant. Very disappointed

We dined at Characters Bridge and our waitress was attentive to all our needs. The food was consistently fresh and incredibly tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant!
We arrived by boat for lunch on a Monday and noticed six boats ahead of us preparing to dock. As the last members of our group were tying up, a few of us went inside to get seated. There were already two people at the bar and a table of four enjoying their food. When we informed the server that we had a party of 16, she stared at us blankly for about 30 seconds before rudely suggesting that we should have made a reservation and then walked away, leaving us without menus or any courteous interaction. This behavior left us with a negative impression, and we decided to leave abruptly. It was clear that she wasn’t busy, yet she missed out on our business and potentially others we might have shared our experience with. It’s unfortunate when such poor service reflects a broader issue with work ethics. I regret having to give this place a one-star review. Goodbye!
I had the crab cake meal for $32, but it was served on a paper plate with plastic silverware. The portions were tiny and offered minimal sides. While they had a bar, there were no beers on tap. The menu on Google was quite different from the one we received, and the actual menu had a limited selection, with several items unavailable. We chose this restaurant for its variety, only to find it wasn’t what we expected. Considering the prices, there are much nicer restaurants where you can enjoy real plates and silverware along with better food.
