This is my third visit to CJ's and we were pretty disappointed with the lunch.A steak sandwich was well presented by the meat "very tough." Not what you want when you are paying $19.They were far from busy so you would think could cook a couple pieces of steak better. The restaurant was able to accommodate our large group and displayed great patience with us. They made us feel extremely welcome and even gave us a gift. We are very grateful and look forward to returning next time we're in Newcastle.
The coffee at this restaurant is fantastic - strong and expertly prepared. The $10 lunch menu was top-notch, offering a hearty portion of delicious food. The staff was friendly and attentive, providing wonderful service throughout our meal.

I had a fantastic experience at CJ's on a Saturday morning. The food was delicious and the service was fast. The restaurant has ample seating and a cozy atmosphere.
