I don't understand what the reviewer Sue Marshall is saying, as this restaurant has been consistently awarded for its health and hygiene practices for 30 years! It is offensive to suggest that the staff lack food hygiene practices, and it seems to me that perhaps they are just trying to compare this establishment to others. The food was delicious, but as another reviewer noted, they do not display their opening times and just open and close at their discretion. We ordered our food, sat down, and realized that the restaurant closed at 7:30pm while we were still waiting. We were unsure if we could still eat, but were then told we had to leave.
Large selection of fish. I had the squid and it was really delicious. the chips were really delicious as we are cut in front of location.
We come here very year and the fish and chips are still the best in the area. Really fab food and wouldn't go anywhere else.
