Was Max Vickery at Engrained a mag?
Amazing restaurant. Service is fantastic and the food is awesome but I love how they pride themselves on ethically sourced and their passion to end climate change. This place is worth the money View all feedback.
What Morgan Myers dislikes about Engrained:
The menu was misleading regarding the dishes offered. The goat cheese salad claimed to have "heirloom" tomatoes, but it was just cherry tomatoes instead. Additionally, there was no sign of the "watermelon" radish. The salad was overly soaked in dressing, making the greens wilt and rendering it practically inedible. View all feedback.
Freshly rotating seasonal menu with several vegan and vegetarian options. all meals come with chips and a drink. Full vegan pizza available
I finally made it too narrow-rained and I was pleasantly surprised how great everything tasted. fresh, healthy, organic and vegan-friendly meals in the middle of a college campus. I ordered the vegan pakora platter $10.75 it came with 4 pieces pakora, saffron wild rices, and a kicherbsalat with mixed green. (it also comes with tomato, but I left them away everything was so tasteful. this is a far cry from the boring campus food from my university days. I thought this was a big and filling part. I got a side of their season fries $2.75 I loved the season and the frits were slightly crispy. I also tried the peach rhubarb crisp $4. it was good, but next time I skip the vanilla bean meringue that came on the side, it seemed to give it an acid taste. a drink is included with every purchase, which was a beautiful surprise. I love how many vegan options they have! in each menu category there is at least one vegan option. for pizza lovers they offer on request vegan cheese; veggie burger are also available on request. there are also many gluten-free options. this caffe is quite large and has plenty of seating for large groups. for wifi, connect to the free gast connection of asu (they must register if they have no account.) as campus café they are only open 11:00-3:00, M-F, so sure they are their fix before the weekend. I was very happy with my meal at engrained and I look forward to trying more of their culinary creations. 5 stars worth it!
