Avensole Winery offers a delightful dining experience with excellent food and wine. Despite some service hiccups, the meal and table service overall were delightful. The atmosphere is pleasant, with live music adding a nice touch to the ambiance. The grounds are beautiful, providing a lovely setting for enjoying delicious food and wine. Highlights include the duck dish, three wine tasting flight, and Sauvignon Blanc. The staff is friendly and accommodating, even if they could be more attentive. While some dishes may be overpriced or lacking in flavor, Avensole Winery remains a fantastic spot for a dining experience with great flavored wine.
I had an outstanding dinner here, I would definitely recommend trying the duck dish and the three wine tasting flight. The atmosphere and location of the restaurant are also fantastic.
We were at the restaurant celebrating my sisters birthday. We were inside, but is was such a beautiful day we could have sat outside. But even inside the views are spectacular. We ordered a mix of things, including the Flatbreads, Hummus and Whipped Feta. Delicious. We also tested different wines, which was fun. We ordered the Melody Twins. So good, we bought several bottles. It was perfect with the Flatbreads. The Hummus and Whipped Feta was so good we wanted to take it home with us. Our server, David, was so helpful in recommending different items from the menu. We had a such great time celebrating. Thanks David. Thanks Avensole Winery for a great day.
Ambience and food was good, but we didn’t receive our food until at least 45 min after we ordered. Turns out there was an error on the server’s part and the order didn’t go through even though we were told repeatedly the food was coming or being plated. They did end up comping some entrees out and were very apologetic about their mistake.
The staff at the restaurant were friendly and accommodating to our group, although they could have been more attentive. Some staff members smirked at us while we were interacting with our children. The food was average and a bit overpriced. The highlights were the steak and the chocolate torte cake for dessert. However, the seafood and chicken sandwich were overcooked and the pizza lacked flavor. I particularly enjoyed the glass of Sauvignon Blanc I ordered and look forward to trying more of their wines in the future. The live music added a nice touch to the ambiance, with a talented saxophone player entertaining us. Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant and the grounds were beautiful.
