Caffè Bar is on our list for a coffee and a pastry when we set out for a day into the Friuli from our holiday home in Carinthia. Ample parking space on the forecourt, friendly staff, good coffee and tasty pastries are their selling points. And that is a recognizable name, but not only that. This bar, on the outskirts of Tarvisio, is not overrun by tourists; tourists tend to keep close to the Tarvisio covered market. Caffe Bar 53 offers ample parking on its own ground in front of the restaurant, good service (depends a bit on the member of the staff serving), good outdoor seating and good coffee and tiramisu for a reasonable price. Caffe Bar 53 is high on our list of Italian bars for a quick stop when we make a sally south from our holiday home in Carinthia.
A small neighborhood shop well-stocked with coffee from many brands and varieties. They also have quality coffee machines and other products like tea and hot chocolate. The owners are very kind and welcoming and treat their customers as they should, and I've become one of them and a regular customer.
