Lemon Grass - Syracuse
Menu
The menu of Lemon Grass from Syracuse comprises about 156 different dishes and drinks. On average you pay about $18.5 for a dish / drink.
Lemon Grass offers a vibrant setting with modern decor and live music that enhances the dining experience. The food presentation impresses, with standout dishes like the steaky bacon and decadent desserts. Though service is attentive and friendly, with staff ensuring diners’ needs are met, some food items, including the ribeye and chicken, have been noted for inconsistency in quality. The restaurant's layout can feel cramped, impacting privacy. While many diners find the offerings delightful, there remains a call for menu refinement and improved execution to match the high expectations set by prior visits. Overall, it’s a spot worth revisiting.

Was User at Lemon Grass a mag?
This was our inaugural visit to Lemongrass, and it certainly won't be our last. The food was exceptional, the service was top-notch, and Billy, the manager, was especially fantastic! He took the time to share some of the restaurant's history and amusing anecdotes, all with a big smile and a great sense of humor. I highly recommend it for a superb culinary experience. What User dislikes about Lemon Grass:
We opted for takeout instead of dining in at the restaurant. The establishment had a pleasant ambiance with jazz music playing. However, when we got home and tried the pad thai we ordered, we were disappointed to find that all the noodles were clumped together, affecting the quality of the meal. View all feedback.
The service was terrible. For a white table cloth restaurant the service does not measure up. The whole night was frustrating as the experience did not get better. The only saving grace was the nice gentleman who filled our water glass with a smile the whole night. The waitress who served us should get another job. She’s not into the hospitality business. Our bad experience with the service over shadowed the food unfortunately. We will not be coming back.
This visit was my first time as they moved to the new location and everything from drinks to dinner to dessert remained consistent. Not to mention changed atmosphere, it definitely has a rather hip and modernized feeling. My friend and I sat at the bar and were quickly accommodated, although it was quite full and busy. Cocktails here are always simple and yet elegant and in place with seasonal changes. For dinner I had asked to be my green curry “as spicy as the kitchen can possibly do it” and to my pleasant surprise they really hear! (It is usually not served this way, I just love spices and expect my Thai curry to hurt when I eat it. Finally, for dessert I did not get the famous chocolate heel, but they had a gelato fruit basket that I was excited to see that it was hit with the same amount of attention to detail in the presentation, and of course it tasted great. The crunchiness of cookies used to make the basket was not too sweet but not bland, and paired well with the mixture of gelato and fresh fruit. The only thing I have is that they used regular eggplants instead of Thai eggplants. However, if you expect a totally authentic Thai food experience, then you are not in the right place. This restaurant is more of a fusion between Western and Thai dishes, as they also do steak.
Way too expensive for what it is. The quality and creativity of the food offerings simply do not justify the expense.
Amazing food, amazing service Charles was a wonderful waiter, and wonderful ambiance
Simply stated, the best Thai meal I’ve had in a few decades. Rivals a few OG Thai restaurants in Los Angeles. Wide menu. Fiery, flavorful, balanced, and beautifully plated. Service is first class white linen and quiet enough for actual dinner conversation. Will absolutely return.
