Menu
On this website, you will find the complete menu of Janus from Sydney. Currently, there are 66 dishes and drinks available.
The restaurant located at the corner of Bligh and Bent in the CBD offers a stunning cave-shaped space with almost 360-degree views of the city. However, the casual breakfast and lunch menu doesn't fully utilize the potential of the space. The mixed reviews highlight slow service, average food quality, and occasional issues with seating policies. Despite these drawbacks, the restaurant receives praise for its friendly staff, excellent coffee, and fresh ingredients. With some improvements in service efficiency and menu offerings, this city café could truly shine as a midday dining destination.

Was Tony W at Janus a mag?
This little cafe inside the building at 1 Bligh Street provides a great spot for non confidential business meetings. The wait staff are well trained in recognising meetings and take orders quickly and with a minimum of fuss. Another good thing, the coffee was great. View all feedback.
What CasandraTP dislikes about Janus:
Janus have opened an outdoor bar area which is great for catching up with friends in the city. The night we went they appeared to be understaffed but if you are not in a hurry that doesn’t matter. View all feedback.
A packed outdoor bar on bligh street in the City, with plenty of people there for drinks after work. They sell small tapas and pizzas red, drinks, including cocktails. I got a bellini, passionfruit flavoured with a small sugar rim, as well as a beer. Not too expensive and service was fast and polite. aroundtheclockfoodie.com
This is a cavernous space right on the corner of Bligh and Bent streets in the CBD. It really is a beautiful space, but unfortunately the direction they have taken just doesn't live up to the potential of the almost 360 degree views of the city around you. The space could easily accomodate something on the finer and more delicate side. No doubt the price of the lease would justify it. However they have chosen to go for a casual breakfast and lunch spot, which is just impossible to achieve at a decent value given the amount of competitors around them. I had the Bounty ($21), a chicken salad that came as a deconstructed affair, the cherry tomatoes, egg, quinoa, chicken and alfalfa(?) all arranged in their own spot separately on the plate. It gets points for being one of the healthiest lunches I've found in the CBD, but that's about it. My friend had the Reuben ($19), which was a small layer of beef and the usual condiments between two slabs of bread - that's it. No salad or any side. Another friend had the chicken burger ($19), but found the chicken dry. So unfortunately the value is just not there. If you want the views, find a takeaway sandwich shop and join the crowds on the stairs - it's free.

Beautiful city cafe! The staff are really friendly and the food and coffee is excellent. Fresh ingredients and quick service. Perfect place for a mid week lunch!
Went for lunch with a table of 10 people today, our table was outside and it was quite cold but the staff were very attentive and immediately brought 2 heaters to our table to keep us warm. The service was great, all of our food came out at the same time which is always something I look for when going out to meals with large groups.<br/ <br/ Everyone ordered different things on the menu such as burgers, salads and wraps. Everyone was thoroughly impressed with the food, the chicken avocado salad was the winning dish out of them all! Everyone has said they will definitely be back, preferably on a more sunny day!
