This restaurant offers an outstanding dining experience. The food is exceptional, with a perfect 5 out of 5 for flavor and quality. The service is equally impressive, matching the food with attentive and friendly staff. The atmosphere is welcoming and enjoyable, making it a perfect spot for dinner. I highly recommend trying the fries, hamburgers, and brisket sandwich! All of this comes at a reasonable price of $10 to $20 per person.
What Fazelock dislikes about Sidebar:
The restaurant boasted a fantastic whiskey selection, but the ambiance didn't quite win me over. I tried the salmon sandwich and fried okra. Although the sandwich lacked flavor, the fish was cooked perfectly, and the okra was delightful. Overall, I found it a bit expensive for the experience, and it does get quite busy, but I would consider returning. View all feedback.

During a business trip from out of state, I stopped by Sidebar for dinner and was thoroughly impressed with the food. My group of five all shared the same sentiment. Although the deviled eggs were missing the pickle relish flavor one would expect, everything else was exceptionally tasty and well-prepared. The Big Kahuna burger made it into our international team's top 10 burgers of all time. I do have a small suggestion: the BBQ sandwich would be better if the meat were mixed in the sauce instead of having it poured over at the table, and it could also benefit from some slaw on top. Aside from that, it was delicious. The spring rolls were fantastic as well!
Excellent food with a wide variety of beer and bourbon options. The wait staff is incredibly friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back soon. Kristen was our bartender and knew the menu inside and out, both food and drinks, offering fantastic recommendations that we loved. Update: After living in Sumter for three years, I can confidently say this is the best bar and restaurant in town. Every item on the menu is a winner. Be sure to try the Saturday brunch from 10 to 2—you won’t regret it.
