I like Wards in general, but the one in Sumrall is not good. The service is always slow and the burgers are greasy. The fries are often cold and stale. However, the breakfast is consistently good. I never had a bad breakfast there. The lunch and dinner options are disappointing. I only continue to go there because of my kids. They need to learn from the Wards in Hattiesburg.
This restaurant is the worst place to eat. I used to enjoy their award-winning burger, but the last time I went, the bread was stale and it seemed like they had just sprinkled a teaspoon of chili on it.
I really enjoyed it and was surprised to find it in Sumrall. This place is as good as it gets. The food quality here is top-notch.
I was quite disappointed to pay $2.50 for just two pieces of bread and a very thin slice of meat at this restaurant. The portion of meat was extremely small, and I felt that the price was excessive for what I received. I won’t be coming back and will make an effort to avoid paying that much for a meal in the future.
