This price is a little pricey for Greek but the quality is pretty good and the staff is nice. If the weather is nice, grab a seat outside, have a beer and some seafood, and watch life in Gansheide go by. I think we had...to use cash here (this may have changed) but there is a bank machine very close at the BW bank across the street. View all feedback.
Ilysia is a pleasantly situated restaurant in the Bubenbad section of Stuttgart. Reached by the strassenbahn, the restaurant has a nice terrace where bands sometimes play in the summer. The interior is stylishly decorated, not your typical blue/white color scheme. A good range of...Greek specialties and main courses is offered, portions are reasonable. Prices are a little higher than many Greek restaurants in the area, but are commensurate with the ambiance and quality of service.
The Tzaziki was flavored with fresh mint, by far the best we have tasted in the entire region. The Gyros and other meats were not dry or bland at all as we have found in so many other places. I highly recommend the white mousse,...very tasty and well displayed.
Wonderful Greek food, superior service, just a wonderful place; I grew up in that region and every time I am back in the old country and in the city where I was born and visit that restaurant; wonderful during the warm season because they have...a lovely garden restaurant as well
With the exception of a peculiar ceiling lamp that occasionally malfunctions, I've been very satisfied so far. The food is typical for a Greek restaurant – be sure to check out the specials menu that's provided at the table. The waiters always have a witty remark ready, even if it's sometimes a bit clumsy. Definitely worth a visit! Reservations recommended!
A decent Greek restaurant with a large menu. Nice, spacious terrace in the summer. Service is inconsistent: sometimes quick and attentive, sometimes flippant and inattentive! Food of solid quality.
