Went here on a busy night. Food was pretty good, as was choice of drinks. I especially liked the range of reasonably priced grappa! If it had a bit more atmosphere I might have given it 5*. View all feedback.
Amazing Italian restaurant! we decided to eat here in the last night of our baby moon stay in strathaven and it was nice! we decided to go all and have 3 courses, and we are so glad that we! the restaurant itself is very small, but it has a beautiful family. the personal was very welcoming and covid-free of all the wearing masks and offers plenty of handsanitary. for beginners we decided to share the mozzarella sticks that were amazing! and the arancini. for our net my partner decided to make a pfeffer chocolate and I went for the boiled ham with mushroom. the pizzateig was so fresh and light and extremely tasty! we pushed out the boot and decided to have a dessert. my partner went for the malteser cheesecake and I decided for the lemon and mango sorbet both were absolutely delicious! another first-class restaurant in strathaven, to which we would definitely return if we were ever in the opposite!
For the first time for a past, our last experience in another restaurant was not too great. but I must admit that we both had a great time. the restaurant was impeccable and safe with all the right precautions. the meal, the drinks and the service were perfect. well done at the amici.
First visit since kovid, it was good to just walk to our local Italian restaurant. eating was very good as the service was great to be back. hopefully will be back soon.
We visited the other day for the first time and we were impressed with the warm, cosy atmosphere, despite the restaurant being empty, aside from us. The staff were all wearing face masks and socially distancing, which was a thumbs up, plus it was clean inside too. The garlic bread was also delicious. Unfortunately that's where the positives end. The staff were attentive, but the restaurant seemed to be far more focused on deliveries and phone orders than on those of us within the premises. They have a VERY limited menu and, to add insult to injury, we found that one of the items we wanted was no longer being offered and should have been removed from the menu (arancini), due to lack of interest from people and limited availability of ingredients. The food also seemed to take ages to arrive and there wasn't much outlook. The pizza was well made and different to most other places, but I wasn't much of a fan, as it didn't have much cheese and included the tomato skins within the sauce. Overall I've had better, but I've definitely had worse too. I think the place was oversold to me and I had high expectations that weren't really met. Would I recommend it? Yes, it's worth a visit, as it's in a nice location and an unusual, old building. Would I go back? I wouldn't hurry back, but I'm glad I've at least tried the place. N.B.
