Was Anonym at Sortrel a mag?
For an appetizer, we ordered calamari, which was a 10/10! The pieces were thick, the batter was light and crispy, and the sweet chili sauce paired perfectly with the dish. It’s definitely a must-try! For our main courses, we enjoyed the firecracker chicken and green curry beef, both of which we absolutely loved. The portions were generous, and the flavors were a testament to the chef's skills!

What Anonym dislikes about Sortrel:
Food is Kay at this place, we ordered spicy fried rice, it was overcooked and it was more on sweet side rather than spicy. The other entree we ordered was okay too. View all feedback.

I did think the mango sticky rice could have a bit more coconut milk, and the sticky rice could have been cooked a little longer. Adding more coconut milk would soften the slightly dry edges of the rice. However, overall, it was a delightful dessert to conclude our meal. I highly recommend Sortrel and will certainly return to try more dishes!
I served as a literary officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Thailand for three years, during which I traveled extensively throughout the country and dined at many Thai restaurants recommended by the Thai embassy staff. This incredible place truly amazed me. It ranks among the top three Thai meals I've ever had in the United States. My partner ordered the green curry, while I opted for the spicy crispy escape. Both dishes were outstanding and comparable to the high-quality food you would find in Thailand itself. The textures were perfect, the flavors were well-balanced, and the heat levels were spot on—simply exceptional. I was blown away, truly. The chef has an amazing palate, and there were no compromises in the quality of the food.
Great atmosphere with above average food and a full bar. The service was very friendly and fast. Order was accurate as well. Food is a bit sweet, even the spiciest option but was still very tasty. The lack of spiciness is the only reason I only give them four stars.
I usually feel awkward about tipping when just picking up food, but given her terrible attitude, I decided not to leave a tip. When she noticed I hadn't tipped, she grabbed my receipt and rolled her eyes at me again. I still managed to say thank you, but she didn't respond at all. I'm grateful that the food was good, but the service was so disappointing that I won't be returning.
