The food is small-town decent but not great overall. My spouse and I went there as the reviews seem fantastic. While the food was not bad at all, it just wasn 't close to being 5-star review worthy. We won 't be back, but, if you 've only known small-town food, it will suffice for you.
Our family had the Crispy Tofu Rice Bowl, the Chicken Rice Bowl, a Spring Burger, and a Chicken Shawarma. We cleaned our plates, very good food, and love that we had an option for everyone's taste because most restaurants only serve typical american fare. Service was great, too! I bookmarked this one as we need more options like this when on the road.
Get off the highway! We made a pit stop for lunch on our journey north and this place is now a must-visit for us. The combination of Asian and Mexican flavors, along with the variety of sauces, elevates the food from good to outstanding. The service is top-notch as well, they truly care about the customer experience. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich and it was massive! I opted for a gluten-free chicken yum yum bowl, which was also quite large. Although I couldn't finish it, I wanted to because it was so delicious. Additionally, they offer vegan options on the menu.
I recently dined at Tomatoes Restaurant for the first time and I was impressed. The food was delicious and the staff was exceptional - friendly, helpful, and always smiling. I will definitely be returning with my wife and daughter in the near future.
