**Restaurant Review: A Disappointing Decline** Once celebrated for its fresh food and welcoming service, this restaurant has recently faced considerable criticism. Patrons complain of dry rice, insufficient portions, and unprofessional staff lacking urgency and kindness. Customers have reported significant issues with order accuracy and cleanliness, particularly in meal preparation. Although the food remains flavorful, many feel that the quality has diminished, overshadowed by indifferent service and poor experiences. Some diners still appreciate the diverse menu catering to dietary needs, but the overall consensus reflects a desperate need for improvement in both food quality and customer care to regain its former reputation.
We used to love this place in the past for its quality and freshness of food. But lately it hasn’t been the same. The new younger staff is very unprofessional, not at all polite. They were talking in their language and just laughing which was very rude and unprofessional. We had to wait for around 10 minutes until somebody came and took our order and the store was not busy at all and they were just talking at the back. They cross contaminated everything when doing our order.Qudoba used to be really good but not anymore
I’ve heard mixed things about this location and one previous visit was not bad, albeit not stellar. What you might ask was bad on this visit?1. The employees worked with no sense of urgency, quite the opposite, almost purposely slow. This was my first warning sign the lack of caring.2. They were out of guacamole and didn’t tell me instead they let me leave the store without it, even though I was charged. I had to call to find out what happened the girl that was the lead told me they don’t do partial refunds and the best they could do is offer me free chips, and guac the next time I came in.3. The gentleman that handed me my food straight up lied to me. I asked him if there is pico in the bag because I didn’t see them put it in. He looked in the bag and told me yes! Guess what? It wasn’t!4. The real icing on the cake was the quesadilla you know, the meal where cheese is the main ingredient. Well, not this time there is no other toppings that I ordered on my quesadilla except corn, and the tiniest bit of cheese I have ever seen in my life (pictured is the part with the most! . There is so little cheese that the entire thing came apart and wasn’t even edible except as a corn salad.5. Might as well not stop now, because my meatless meat was also burnt to a crisp. This is the first negative review that I have left on here that’s how bad it was. Not worth it, I’d rather wait at chipotle. At least the quality of food is consistent there. There’s a reason Qdoba is always dead. Which should make them put extra effort in, but NOPE they’ve completely given up ?
The food was very good and fresh. Was our 1st time there so ask the staff about the menu, just got a blank stare from her, kind of a heavy set 20 something white lady...so we just ordered tacos to make it easy. Although we were the only customers in the restaurant at the time, we felt like we were a great burden to this woman through this ordeal for her. We dined in so I was kind of watching the staff thinking I wanted to say something about her service, the other staff member was a dark haired young woman who was was cleaning tables and stocking items and staying busy. So as I was watching our server behind the counter she looked like she was putting a pickup order together and as she was doing this she was nibbling on this food as she was packing it up. I grew up in a restaurant family, every single seven of us worked in a restaurant growing up. I knew at 13 years old that the customers 1st experience in the restaurant was one of the most important. We will probably go back because the food was good, was fresh and it would have been nice to try something other than tacos, but she really made us feel like a couple of idiots for having questions.
Take out Lunch $10?20 They barely put anything on my Barreto it was half the size of normal they put half a scoop of meat and half a scoop of rice and 1 tbs of sour cream I was over all really disappointed with my experience because everythingother time I have been there I was I'mpressed but not this time. My Barreto was taco sized.
When we arrived there were 3 people in line. One employee was serving them and the other employee was on break in the lobby. Service was awful, no sense of urgency, no smiles, nothing. The white girl came up to the register last minute to ring acustomer up. Service took forever. All 3 employees had attitude. Like they hated their job, well they shouldn?t be working theirthen.
