Dining at this restaurant was a delightful experience. The meal was served during dinner time and the price per person ranged from $30 to $50. The food quality was exceptional, receiving a perfect score of 5. The service was also impeccable, earning another 5-star rating. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, also receiving a rating of 5. Some recommended dishes to try include the Black Bean Rangoon, Chop, Moroccan Shrimp, Caesar Salad Lunch, Bleu RAVS with Grilled Bread, Crème Brulee, Beef and Noodles, Shrimp and Grits, Blackened Salmon, Stella Frites, and Chicken and Dumplings.
What a fantastic restaurant! The chef is extremely talented and has a knack for creating unique and delicious dishes. The architecture of the building is also a must-see for fans of unique design.
I give this restaurant a rating of 4 not because of the food, but because of the service. I ordered a $45 Ribeye and the potatoes were undercooked, and the steak was covered in sauce to the point where I couldn't taste the meat. It was also very gristly. However, when asked about my meal, I was honest. I didn't expect to be comped, but I asked my server if I could at least pay for my iced tea so that I could leave a $15 tip. The staff here are good people.
This bistro primarily offers meat dishes but always includes a vegan option on their rotating menu, typically a hummus appetizer. During the winter, they served a delicious vegan burgundy with homemade seiten that was divine. For the spring/summer season, they are offering a vegan spaghetti bolognese. While not the most vegan-friendly restaurant, it is currently the only upscale dining option in Springfield for vegans and the vegan dish they offer is excellent.
Sophisticated and upscale! A memorable dining experience that will linger in my mind. Whether you're dining with colleagues or on a romantic date, Stella Blu is the perfect choice. I visited with a large group and we were impressed with the variety of entrees and appetizers available. My favorite was the specialty Rangoon dish. The service was efficient and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely be returning to Stella Blu the next time I am in Springfield for dinner.
