Was Amale Abdu at Marib a mag?
The fasoulia and bread were delightful. The kibdah was absolutely mouthwatering and cooked to perfection; I've never had kibdah quite like this before. The service and atmosphere were excellent. And I must mention, their milk tea is smooth, creamy, and incredibly soothing. View all feedback.
What Aazam Raja dislikes about Marib:
The most frustrating aspect was the service, which was nothing short of terrible. During the more than hour we spent there, the waiter never once checked on us. The female server passed by our table multiple times without even offering a greeting or asking if we needed anything. It seems they may no longer prioritize politeness or good service to earn tips since they automatically add a gratuity fee, regardless of th... View all feedback.

This restaurant offers an authentic and delicious Yemeni cuisine experience. We tried several dishes, both vegetarian and meat-based. The Lentil soup and Saltah were standouts among the vegetarian options, offering a depth of flavor that truly transported us to Yemen. However, the stars of the show were the Maraq soup, Lamb Haneeth, and Chicken Mandi. Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with complex flavors and textures. Our feast concluded with a delightful Kunafe, followed by a traditional Arabic coffee – the perfect ending to this delicious exploration of Yemeni culinary traditions. The service was excellent, and the restaurant itself was clean and hygienic. While the prices may be slightly higher than usual, the quality of the food and the overall experience definitely justify it.
Placed a carry out order and showed up 5 minutes later. I was welcomed by a warm and inviting environment, and charming staff to boot. The place is set up really nice, feels homey and classy but comfortable and inviting. I was served a delicious complimentary tea while waiting for my order, it was a spiced milk tea, my guess is with clove and maybe star anise. Super unique and delicious, very much appreciated and enjoyed on the crisp morning I went in. The food was delicious and seasoned very well. Service, food and atmosphere all 10/10. Well done.
I visited Marib Restaurant in Springfield after receiving recommendations for Yemeni food from my previous post. I enjoyed the Tandoori Bread along with Zahawig (a cream cheese salsa), as well as Fahsa and Saltah (not sure about the spelling). I also tried the Lamb Mandi. I absolutely loved all these dishes, and the service was fantastic. Our waitress was very attentive!

I can't recommend this place at all.
