I stand by my initial review but would like to add a few things. They now have a small play area that is perfectly safe for your little ones while you enjoy your breakfast nearby. Additionally, they have games related to COVID and strictly follow all COVID regulations, which is commendable. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Wimpy:
Stopped for breakfast. The service was fast. And the food was good (apart from their chips). The coffee tasted great! The waitress seemed a bit distracted and on edge. She got my order wrong despite repeating it twice and made simple mistakes. I didn’t enjoy how the staff yelled above the customers regarding orders or checking if something is in stock. Wimpy is located on the main road as you enter Springbok from Kakamas. As always, the coffee at Wimpy tastes fantastic and is especially nice on a cold, rainy day. Wimpy offers a relaxed dining experience, being part of a long-standing chain, with a menu featuring burgers, mixed grills, and other comfort food, along with various beverages to complement your meal. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is very friendly and attentive to customers. Restroom facilities are available for those in need of a break. Additionally, the restaurant provides wheelchair accessibility for disabled customers and offers Wi-Fi for patrons.
I stand by my initial review, but I wanted to add that now that I have a little one, the play area is perfectly safe for children. This allows you to enjoy your breakfast without losing sight of them. Additionally, they have improved their safety measures concerning COVID-19 and are strictly adhering to regulations, which is greatly appreciated.
Very friendly, order was placed correctly and food was ready in just a few minutes. Great experience!
