Awesome little bar to get pizza and food late at night. If you like karaoke this is a great spot for you. Joe and Kristine are really friendly and they make you feel at home View all feedback.
Great karaoke bar. Staff is fun and friendly, great drinks prices and they have excellent pizza as well. (I think they have a power hour of 8-9 where you get pizza slices and beer for $1.00). Great place to hang with friends and belt some melodies.

If you had asked me my opinion about Monterey Cafe a few years ago, I would have told you to stay away. Terrible service, high prices and the worst karaoke host I have ever experienced. I don't know when or why things changed, but I'm so glad I gave Monterey a different chance recently. Pizza is one of the best cakes in downtown. The bartenders are friendly and pour delicious drinks. The bouncer keeps a friendly amount inside and hotheads outside. And the karaoke host, Jess, keeps a tight rotation, a balanced mixer and throws some incredible songs themselves. This review is for those of you who like me got a bad taste in your mouth from the old Monterey. Give them another shot!
Karaoke here is an absolute blast, and the staff is incredibly friendly! The beer selection is outstanding, especially the Heavy Melon beer—delicious! Thank you for a great evening; we can't wait to come back for more!
