Patrons encounter a disjointed ordering process due to limited menus and a lack of clarity about offerings like jackfruit tacos. While some dishes, such as barbecue jackfruit sandwiches, earn modest praise, others, like the overly salty vegan mac and cheese, fail to impress. Despite a few bright spots, including decent dirty fries and a delicious chocolate coconut treat, the high prices and ordering challenges may deter many from returning. Overall, a restaurant with potential but needing refinement.
I ordered the dirty fries topped with barbecue jackfruit and a vegan cheese sauce, and my non-vegan family members tried it and loved it. I also brought home a few bakery items. The chocolate cupcake was a bit dry, but the chocolate coconut treat I had was fantastic. It’s a great place, and I will definitely return.
The experience was quite confusing, and after a lengthy wait, the food turned out to be bland. I'm really disappointed to have spent so much money only to have to waste it.
We drove around to the back and found a limited menu, along with a sign directing us to their website for the full menu. After checking it out, we called to place our order. The menu didn’t list jackfruit tacos or barbecue, although I had seen those items mentioned elsewhere, leading to some confusion about which type of jackfruit to order. We finally clarified and ended up getting two barbecue jackfruit sandwiches and one vegan mac and cheese. The total came to nearly $50. The jackfruit and fries were just okay, but the mac and cheese was extremely salty—almost as if someone had mismeasured the salt. It was so unpalatable that we had to throw it away. Everyone can have an off day, but we likely won’t return for three reasons: first, the price; second, the difficulty of ordering; and third, we were just passing through the area.
For those who require gluten-free options, it's great to have a restaurant like this that offers a delicious menu, allowing you to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner at any time. Plus, they even have an online store!
