The food here is always excellent. However, we had a frustrating experience with our waitress, who left us waiting at our table for over 30 minutes after we requested the check. We noticed her chatting with someone at the bar while we waited. Eventually, we had to approach her again to remind her. While we usually have a great time here, this lack of professionalism was disappointing. Food: 5/5
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. Despite the fact that it wasn't crowded, the service was extremely disappointing. It took 45 minutes for our dinner to arrive, and when we ordered dessert, it never showed up after 15 minutes. Eventually, we had to ask for the check, only to be handed our dessert in a box just as we were leaving. The waiter seemed clueless, and the manager was no better. Overall, the food was decent, but the service definitely dragged the experience down. Rating: 3/5 for the food.
Absolutely delicious! The outdoor seating was fantastic. This spot is a perfect choice after catching a matinee at Montgomery Theater. You have to try the Sexy Fries—they're a generous portion, so be sure to share with your dining companions. Food: 5/5
Northbound seems to be hit or miss and the other night it was definitely a miss. The cocktails were good, the tuna poke was great and we enjoyed eating on the patio. That was the extent of positives. I was there with a friend and we are foodies, weboth decided to try the Sirloin Coulotte based on the description and photo. As soon as it came out we could smell theoverwhelming amount of garlic and tasted other odd flavors, we both just looked at each other, but decided we should at leasttry the sirloin?I?ve only said this a handful of times in my life, but it was so tough it was actually inedible. I explained itto our waitress who was very nice and told us their head chef was on vacation. We were still hungry, so ordered the House MadeRicotta, which was was bland and came with cold soggy sourdough and stale crackers. The manager was kind enough not to chargeus for the Sirloin, but Northbound needs to upgrade and add to their menu. They have a salmon dish and a smoked salmonfettuccine, which is a bit redundant. It would be great if they added their crab cakes as a standard menu item instead of anoccasional special. We will probably go back, but stick with their small bites, wings, salads and maybe try a pizza.
Food is absolutely outstanding. I've only dined in once but I've eaten plenty of my families leftovers and without a doubt in my mind I can say that everything on their menu is top quality. Absolutely delicious and the service matched that of the food.10/10 folks
