The woman at the café in Flying Flags RV Resort in Buellton highly recommended this place to us. We had previously been put off by Solvang because of the noisy tourist buses and large crowds, but she insisted it was a fantastic shop for cheese and other goods. She was completely right! My husband, who is French, is passionate about cheese, and Susie helped us find exactly what we were looking for. We ended up buying far more than we anticipated because the selection of cheeses, charcuterie, and often hard-to-find European imports was incredible. As someone with a Russian background, I'm particularly fond of Hering, and they had multiple varieties available.
Fantastic cheese and wine shop! We visited primarily for the cheese and cheese tasting, and we were not disappointed.
Was on this place when Solvang walked. It's adorable, but that's just the beginning! They have a wide selection of gourmet food and we loved exploring. Recommended to avoid some of the “orphan” cheeses that are $1-$3 and perfect for a small cheese board for 2, big idea, cuts
