Feedback
Was Sandra Mcclure at Dancen a mag?
At first, when I walked in I wasn’t sure, it’s very small and you felt closed in. But when the food arrived and I forgot all about the small space! The fire chicken was amazing, the kimchi pancakes but my favorite was the pork jiggae!! We also made rice balls which was a fun diy moment! View all feedback.
What Zach Abel dislikes about Dancen:
I was really impressed by the food, atmosphere, and the staff! The fire chicken was incredible! We also tried the spicy rice cake with fish cake, Korean beef shish kebabs, and kimchi soup with pork belly—everything was delicious! The lighting is a bit dim, there's a lot of K-pop videos playing, and the drink selection is extensive. Yum! View all feedback.
Talk about a hidden gem. It feels like you're eating in someone's shed but the food is incredible and prices are very fair for the portions and quality.
We were truly impressed by the food at Dancen. Every dish we ordered—especially the cheesy fire chicken, spicy pork skin, kimchi pancake, sweet marinated pork rib, and spicy squid—was exceptional! The restaurant boasts an intimate atmosphere, making it a fantastic place to savor traditional Korean dishes with friends. We can’t wait to come back again soon!
The interior may not be the most impressive, but the food is fantastic! This place is definitely worth a return visit thanks to their incredible menu. I highly recommend trying the Fire Chicken with cheese—it's absolutely delicious!
The food was delicious, I had a chance to meet the cook and thank her. Highly Recommend! If you like spicy chicken with a little bit of sweetness and a whole lot of smoke, definitely recommend the fire chicken. It's amazing! I literally travel two and a half hours when I'm craving it, it's that good!
It's clear that the fire chicken is the highlight of this restaurant, so I won't say much other than it's absolutely as tasty as everyone claims. Whether you go for cheese or skip it, you won't be disappointed. The rice cakes were soft and fluffy, the kimchi was fresh and tangy, and the skewers were incredibly tender and flavorful. I visited with a few friends to try as many dishes as possible, and everything we had was delicious. We definitely plan to return!
