To celebrate our grandaughters 13th birthday on Aug. 4, here parents and brother, sister and her boyfriend, and both maternal and paternal grandparents went here for her birthday dinner. We tried to have dinner here today to celebrate an Anniversary for my parents. There were only 4 of us and the restaurant was half empty. We were told that the kitchen is very small and is for Golfers Only. They really should make this...clear to people on their website and advertising. I wish I was able to review the menu but we were unable to sample it. I had called in the morning to see if I needed to book a reservation for the evening and was told it wasn't necessary. That arriving anytime is fine. I confirmed again since we were a party of 12 and was told the same thing. Upon arriving in the evening, we were turned away due to Ladies night. Clearly the staff needs to be more aware of the schedule or should recommend reservations regardless. This was a huge disappointment as this was our final evening of our holiday and we're looking forward to nice dinner on this beautiful evening.
Great view of our own cabin across the lake! The food was very good and prices quite moderate considering the setting. Lovely atmosphere on a nice summer evening.
We enjoyed a delightful evening at this golf course restaurant while staying in Sicamous on a road trip. We were so impressed with the care and effort the new owner has put into making this a special place. The view was incredible and we enjoyed the meals as well. We both had fish- salmon and trout, very generous and well prepared. Our server was fun, the one called Trouble! There was also live entertainment the day we were there which we enjoyed. We'd highly recommend Hyde Mountain!
We have stopped there for lunch with friends and that is amazing. the deck is a little worn out and has large gaps so that chairs do not slide well. eating was decent and the service was slow due to lack of employees.
The food was outstanding, the service was welcoming, and the view from the terrace was breathtaking.
