Asked for a biscuit instead of a roll 3 times and still got a roll. Asked for a regular #1 combo, but got a regular and spicy mix instead... And finally, the gravy is basically pure water, and only half full... Also, customer service is non existent. They did get my drink right at least.
Went to the Jacksonville TX Location. what a unpleasant experience. Sunday Lunch time the door locked but hours of operation stated open. Knocked on window they motioned to use Drive through. We decided that was ok we could sit outside and eat. After repeating the order numerous times two three piece dark and two sweet teas, was hard enough. The girl at the window was rude. Was nonresponsive to two questions and I had to yell when she closed the window, and her response was I heard you. I was like so why would you not acknowledge me? I told my buddy I was going to write a review when we I get home. I don't want to do this but after seeing all the other reviews it looks like this has been going on for quite some time. So, there is that. Will try to avoid going back is all.
I tried the chicken strips, and they were much better than what you'd expect from a gas station. I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because they said their spicy fries were unavailable. The gravy was tasty, but I wish they had a wider variety of sauces to choose from.
If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered a family chicken strip meal 46 plus dollars, had to pull up and wait which is not unusual. Get the food home and there is no gravy and the mashed potatoes are liquid. Try to call and no one answers the phone.Had to drive back down there to get our money back. Unreal they would let food leave their store like that. I mean you don'teven have to have any training if you've EVER eaten mashed potatoes before you would know theyre not supposed to be liquid. Iwould be embarrassed if I worked there. Will not go back.
Was impressed that the food was fresh at 2pm. Food was good. Weirdly tasted like Long John Silver's meets chicken. Breading texture was perfect.
