Came here with a group of friends who lived close to me, I was ready to try this restaurant I had heard so much. they are famous for horse meat, make great appetizers (typical but also somewhat different...and more modern/creative/innovative. I liked the tweepers in milk! and when they come in summer, they can sit outside on the terrace that is on a small square. probably best to book a table as this restaurant is very popular.
Horse meat, hands down the best I've ever had: arrosticini, diaphragm, rib eye, meatballs. A unique experience, fair prices, and the owners are incredibly kind. Plus, which doesn't hurt, you eat in the little square, and I have to say, the beauty of the surrounding scenery almost made it feel like you were in a movie. Thank you! See you soon.
The best horse meat in Salento! Horse skewers...my mouth is still watering! Very friendly staff...with a festival going on, they found the place right away! Everything was good and reasonably priced. A culinary experience worth repeating. The location faces the castle. Very cute.
