Nestled in the heart of North Seattle, this eclectic restaurant offers a unique fusion of tapas with American and Asian influences. While some patrons rave about the flavorful dishes, such as smoked wagyu skewers and truffle gnocchi, others have reported disappointing experiences characterized by long wait times, bland flavors, and small portions. The inconsistent service seems to hinder repeat visits, but highlights like delightful sherry flights and inventive small plates occasionally shine through the mixed reviews. For those seeking a memorable meal, it's recommended to make reservations and perhaps explore nearby alternatives if dining experiences don't meet expectations.

Just wow! A little jewel of a restaurant in the heart of Green Lake. All the tapas and pinchos we had were great! The smoked waygu skewer was fantastic served with the smoke in a bottle with the skewer. The meatballs on a bed of polenta and ricotta was fantastic. Crab/caviar pinchos was great as was the white boquero anchovy pinchos and we've been to San Sebastian in Spain and done a pinchos tour so we know! The wine... View all feedback.
What Spoon Man dislikes about Tapas Lab:
Our dining experience tonight was extremely disappointing. It took nearly an hour to receive our food, which was both bland and served in small portions (think crostini size for a whole tapas). I don't mind paying more for smaller servings if the flavor is good, but everything on our plates tasted like it had no seasoning at all - not even salt. Dry, flavorless, and overall a bad meal. The beef skewer was small and c... View all feedback.

Crab/caviar pinchos was great as was the white boquero anchovy pinchos and we've been to San Sebastian in Spain and done a pinchos tour so we know! The wine flight of 3 glasses was a real value and tasted great too. We were just too full to try the sushi which is supposed to be just as good. Highly recommended. We'll be going back ... and soon!
If I could give the service zero stars, I would. It took literally 54 minutes for our food (four small plates) to come out. This was the second time we tried it, after having a similar experience the first time around. We gave them the benefit of the doubt, shame on us.Also, check out the photo of the tuna roll where’s the tuna?!??
Cheese plate, Caviar Deviled Eggs and a red wine flight. Along with Smoked Wagyu Short Rib Skewer and the Wagyu Sliders. Service and food were amazing!
Cute spot to hang out with friends. They have a good selection of wines. And 3-4 vegetarian dishes on the menu making it perfect for my group.
It’s a cute place for drinking! You can make your own flight! The food are really good but a bit pricey ?Recommend caviar deviled egg, bulgogi pincho, shrimp pincho, foie gras torchon. Especially bulgogi pincho, it’s really great! No dress code, not easy to find a parking. Easy to reserve a table for four!
