I've been to Philadelphia and have had cheesesteaks at probably 15 iconic places there. the original Philly's is exactly the same and just as good if not better. The crazy thing is the prices. they are very reasonable especially in overpriced Seattle. It was my first time going to The Original Philly’s today. My boyfriend ordered whatever he ordered. Not sure, didn’t care, he liked it though. ?I ordered the mushroom cheesesteak and was not disappointed. (The mushrooms were definitely in there and cheese too, I just mixed it up). This restaurant is a great spot for a guilty pleasure meal. I recommend trying the Philly cheesesteak with mushrooms, sautéed onions, and cheese. It's a generous portion, so you can enjoy half now and save the other half for later. The leftovers can easily be reheated in the oven without worrying about the vegetables getting soggy.
The bread is soft and fluffy, the steak is tender and well-seasoned, and there's a touch of vegetables. It doesn't get much better than this. The hot sauce is available at the counter. Place your order, find a seat, and get ready for one of the best cheesesteaks you'll find in this region. Don't forget to try the cheese fries, and it's all still cheaper than a trip to Starbucks. This place is amazing. It's nice to see that some things never change.

As a cook for 24 years simple is better and this place has it down.

If you're from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or the DelMarVa area, you'll satisfy your cheese steak craving at The Original Philly's. The cheese steak is perfectly chopped and seasoned, with cheese throughout. The roll is what really makes it, in my opinion, and they give a generous portion of meat. It's definitely next level. Don't pass up the opportunity to try it. And the cherry on top was seeing the Eagles Superbowl champs sticker in the shop.
