**Dining Experience at MKT: A Mixed Bag of Hits and Misses** MKT presents a vibrant blend of flavors and creative culinary twists, highlighted by standout dishes like pappardelle, gnocchi, and expertly prepared scallops. The outdoor seating creates a delightful atmosphere, perfect for warm Seattle evenings. However, some diners expressed disappointment with overcooked and poorly paired dishes, which did not justify the high prices. Service received mixed reviews, with some praising attentiveness while others noted a lackluster welcome. Despite inconsistencies, the restaurant shows potential for growth, especially under new ownership. Overall, MKT remains a worthwhile dining option for those seeking unique Italian-inspired fare in a pleasant setting.
We dined outdoors on a warm evening, and while it was still hot (a fan would have been nice), the atmosphere was lovely. Unfortunately, a group at a nearby table was quite loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. However, the food was outstanding! We had three different pasta dishes, and they were all amazing. The wine was quite overpriced, though—what costs $14 at the grocery store was priced at $80 at MKT. Overall, we had a delightful evening.
We had dinner outside on a warm evening, and while it was still quite hot (a fan would have been nice), the atmosphere was lovely. Unfortunately, a group at a nearby table was quite loud, making it difficult to hold a conversation. However, the food was outstanding! We tried three different pasta dishes, and they were all amazing. One downside was that the wine prices were significantly marked up; a bottle that costs $14 at the grocery store was priced at $80 at MKT. Overall, we had a great evening.
The service was excellent, but the food didn't justify the cost. We ordered the gnocchi and the burrata, and both dishes were quite disappointing considering their prices.
Had a great time in our first time visiting mkt. Atmosphere was cozy and romantic, service was attentive and kind, and food was 10/10. We ordered the Mozzarella di Bufala, which brought such a creative flavorful twist to your classic mozzarella. We then had the Muscovy Duck Confit which was amazing (the cherries added so much flavor to the dish! and the Campanelle was without a doubt the best pasta I’ve had in Seattle. Thank you so much for a great dinner. We’ll definitely be back!
