Miro was established to introduce its neighborhood to the best world-class teas, and it certainly accomplishes that. They know what they're doing when it comes to tea, offering a wide selection of exceptional varieties. They prepare it in the best way possible and are very helpful when it comes to choosing. My stop here was fantastic. I ordered a hibiscus berry lemonade ice cream, tried some really nice hot teas while it was being prepared, and chatted with the friendly tea experts. My drink was incredibly refreshing, and I enjoyed the open and modern feel of the tea house. Of course, I picked up some tea essentials before leaving the shop. I loved my stop here. In a coffee-focused city, it's easy to overlook a tea shop. However, at Miro Tea, it's worth a visit. It's the best tea shop I've ever been to.
Seattle is known as a coffee hub, home to Starbucks, ubiquitous cafes, and java addicts. Don't be fooled, though. We also have excellent tea houses. Miro Tea, located on historic Ballard Avenue in the Ballard neighborhood in the north of the city, is a neighborhood gem with fine tea, extravagant crepes, gluten-free baked treats, and tasty snacks. Compared to the often frenetic buzz of a coffee shop, Miro has a more relaxing atmosphere. The friendly and knowledgeable servers guided me through brewing my favorite off-menu blend: chamomile ginger. Their tea selection is impressive and always high quality, thanks to the lovely owner Jeanne Liu.
This is my favorite tea spot. I have been a loyal customer for years. The owner and staff are friendly, and the tea is delicious.
Miro offers an impressive variety of loose leaf teas and tea drinks, many of which are vegan-friendly. They are accommodating when it comes to checking ingredients for customers with dietary restrictions, such as whether their seasonal drinks contain animal products. Some of their popular drinks include the Black Tea Latte with oat milk for cold weather and the All Nighter, a blend of matcha and espresso, for warm weather. They also serve vegan baked goods sourced from local bakeries and offer wagashi from a local Japanese confectionery, Tokara. However, be prepared for long lines on Sundays due to the popularity of the Ballard Farmer's Market outside the restaurant.
This restaurant in Ballard is definitely popular. It's always bustling with customers. They offer a great selection of drinks. I particularly liked the Pink Chai, which was lightly sweet as advertised. We also sampled the hot chocolate, which had a smoky cinnamon flavor that reminded us of Mexican hot chocolate. It was a unique and delicious combination that I had never tried before.
