Nestled in Ballard, this restaurant offers a quirky ambiance highlighted by taxidermy, and a dog-friendly outdoor area that sets it apart. Patrons rave about the delicious burgers and inviting drink specials, particularly during happy hour. While the service can be inconsistent during busy times, friendly staff often enhance the experience. However, some customers have reported unsettling encounters, noting an exclusive atmosphere and issues with the way certain situations were handled. Despite mixed reviews regarding service efficiency and environment, the appealing menu and lively vibe make it a tempting destination for a casual outing.
The wings were very plain, but the Nashville Chicken was extremely spicy. The bartender was friendly, although seemed preoccupied with other tasks.
I witnessed the blonde server at this restaurant scam a customer out of money tonight. The bar staff falsely accused a man of taking photos of a female employee (which he didn't, as my girlfriend and I were sitting next to him the whole time) and then proceeded to kick him out and demand money from him. They took the money from his hand and forced him to leave. I saw the staff scam money from a man and I will never return to this place. Avoid Kings restaurant, they will get you drunk and try to con you out of your money. This incident occurred on 12/30/22 and it was extremely unfair.
Extremely white culture , exclusive environment. Ppl come here with their friends n hang only with their friends. Some white dude asked me if I was working when I visited last Halloween, as I was the one of a handful of black ppl there--he did not appear to be joking. Haven 't gone back since. If I could give it a no-star rating, I would.
Stopped by for a quick bite and drinks with a friend. They had outside seating in additional time indoors, but since it was a nice day we opted to sit out at the bar seats. I love my Shirley Temples, and they really made it unique! Wings were really tasty, unfortunately they only had it in Buffalo sauce (out of the rotating flavor Garlic Parm) today. Waiter and waitress were very friendly, attentive, and quick to serve. We believe the waiter was in training, as we had both come over, he did wonderful with his kind service and was very polite! Definitely wouldn't mind coming back for another extended visit to try other options on their menus.
