Nestled in the vibrant heart of West Seattle, this Mediterranean tapas restaurant invites diners into a cozy, eclectic space perfect for date nights or gatherings. The diverse menu features dishes infused with rich Moroccan flavors, including standout options like beef tenderloin and scallops, praised for their unique presentations and delightful tastes. Although some dishes may vary in quality, the overall experience is enhanced by inventive cocktails and a welcoming atmosphere. While service can be inconsistent, the charm of the venue and the creative culinary offerings make this spot a noteworthy addition to the local dining scene, attracting both locals and visitors alike.
This restaurant is simply outstanding. I've visited several times and have been impressed every single time. The dishes and cocktails are thoughtfully crafted and one-of-a-kind. Although the menu features tapas and small plates, I’ve never felt let down by the portion sizes in relation to the price. While the servings are on the smaller side, the quality and flavor of each dish more than compensate for it. I look forward to returning to explore more of their offerings!
We moved to the area recently and have been wanting to try Itto's since our first time even just visiting West Seattle. We made a reservation for Valentine's Day dinner, and when we showed up, there was a mistake that had been made with our reservation and we weren't quite sure what our next steps were. We left to see what our other dining options were, but had our hearts set on Itto's so we returned to the restaurant and talked more to staff about our frustrations. From that point forward, everything was communicated so well, and with flexibility and grace. We had one of the best meals that we have had in a long time, the cocktails were fantastic, and the service was really wonderful. I'm so glad that we returned and were able to resolve the initial issue as everything was handled expertly and with a level of care that was beyond appreciated. We absolutely will return and will recommend Itto's to our friends and family. Of note, we are vegetarian and everything that we ate (pretty much the entire vegetarian menu ha ha) was absolutely fantastic.
My husband took me to Itto's Tapas for my birthday in July, and we had a wonderful experience. As soon as we arrived, a friendly staff member greeted us warmly and went over the menu, offering some great recommendations. We started with scallops, which turned out to be our favorite dish of the evening. I ordered the lamb leg, and it was delicious as well. My husband opted for the paella (which I didn't get a photo of), and while he enjoyed it, he felt it could have used a bit more flair and was a bit too small to satisfy his appetite. We also tried the Torta Española, which was really tasty. A couple of areas for improvement would be the size of the tables and an update to the menu. Overall, though, the food was fantastic!
This restaurant offers a diverse selection of tapas dishes influenced by Moroccan cuisine. I've visited twice, and the quality of the dishes varies from one occasion to the next. During both visits, we ordered a substantial number of small plates. Out of the eight or so dishes we tried, there were always two that stood out as truly exceptional, while the others ranged from good to mediocre. However, none of the dishes were disappointing. The cocktails here are also quite impressive.
This place has a fantastic, eclectic vibe typical of West Seattle. The service is quick, friendly, and dependable, and the drinks are great. I loved the creative use of mismatched glassware—if you're looking for uniformity at your table, this isn't the spot for you. The tapas are outstanding; the eggplant dish is wonderfully garlicky, complemented by fresh tomatoes and trendy yet delicious cilantro. The high-quality beef tenderloin has a subtle sweetness, and I recommend opting for the 8oz entrée portion. Don't forget to try the creamy, smooth croquettes—they're a must! I've found my new favorite Moroccan-Spanish-Romanian restaurant!
