The tapas are delicious and there is a great selection of drinks. The lively atmosphere is perfect for after-work gatherings.
What a great spot! Food was good, service was good. Only thing that kept it from a full 5 stars is that was we had a private party in private room, however the live musician in the main space made it difficult to hear our speakers at the dinner party. They need to do a better job of sound proofing or not having loud music set up near the private room or asking a client if live music being able to be heard is appropriate for their event.
This is a charming place and the back room has especially nice ambiance. We had the meze platter, one of the flat breads and the lemon ricotta cheesecake with lavender crust—-all delicious but that cheesecake was outstanding. Jordan, our server, was friendly and provided just the right amount of attention. The Cabernet I ordered (Mark Ryan The Chief Board Track Racer) was really special…superb! We were just in Seattle for a few days and wish we’d found Black Bottle sooner…we would have gone back!
The manager, Jacklyn at this location asked me, “Who has more emotional intelligence, me or you?” I am autistic. Please don’t support this business.
Was in town for the annual Out Equal conference with work colleagues and we had a group dinner here on the evening of October 14th. We had a fantastic experience! The restaurant is small and lively. Our party of five was seated in the back room, which was a total game-changer. It felt incredibly private, almost like we had the entire place to ourselves, while still enjoying the energetic vibe of the main bar and dining area. The food was excellent and the service was top-notch—attentive without being intrusive. It’s the perfect spot for a group that wants great food in a setting that allows for conversation. Highly recommend! Price per person: $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
